Summary: The Tenancy Supports Specialist plays a vital role in implementing the Kentucky 1915(i) RISE Initiative, which expands Medicaid services for individuals with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) and/or a co-occurring Substance Use Disorder (SUD). This position focuses on helping participants secure and maintain stable housing, promoting independence, recovery, and community integration

Credentials: High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Special skills: 1 year of experience in housing support, case management, or behavioral health preferred.
Primary functions:
Assist individuals in identifying, securing, and maintaining safe and affordable housing.
Provide tenancy support services including lease negotiation, landlord mediation, and eviction prevention.
Educate participants on tenant rights and responsibilities.
Coordinate with housing authorities, landlords, and community partners to facilitate housing access.
Support participants in developing skills for independent living (e.g., budgeting, hygiene, home maintenance).
Conduct regular home visits to assess housing stability and provide ongoing support.
Shift/Days and Work Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 4:30pm.
